Twitch wont download mods

Twitch App won't install Minecraft. Tech Support. No matter what I do, no matter what the hell I change the directory to, it never fucking works. I just want to play Sky Factory with my friends because suddenly every good modpack uses this crappy twitch app, but it just doesn't want to install the damn game first. Mod policy. Reddit Inc

In top right corner click on [] button, then open folder and copy your mods from the mods folder into .mimecraft\mods, install forge version which you chose in the twitch launcher, install it, and then go to your MC launger, create new profile and choose your version of forge (it is on the very bottom) and save your profile. Twitch Modpacks are built to work with Twitch (obviously you can use them through MultiMC too). If you want the mods just get the mods listed/download and install the pack through Twitch/MultiMC and use another launcher like the Vanilla one or MultiMC with a custom instance.

For a mod to show up on the twitch app, it must be set as "Release" on both curseforge.com, and mods.curse.com. As far as I can tell, the latter (which is updated by the former) is the one that actually syncs with the app. If it's in Alpha or Beta, it won't show up.
